- Some people have complained they never received the callback. In the
- Fidonet echo, one of their employees stated that if you call during a busy
- time you may have this problem. Their modems are configured in such a way
- that if they start to call and an inbound call comes in, the outbound call
- is aborted, yet counts as an attempt to call. It will only make three
- attempts. Therefore, the max attempts can be reached without a single call
- actually being placed.
